We were celebrating today. We choose Old House by an accident. I hope God gives me more accidents like that. Food? Absolutely divine. We had salmon and beef cheek. Salmon, was made to perfection well seasoned and lovely sides. Beef cheek was absolutely mouth watering. Delicious just delicious. For the dessert we had sticky toffee pudding(whoever loves sweet go for it blindly) and chocolate brownie both desserts served with ice cream on the side. Our waiter ( and I do apologise for not remembering the name- truly) was the most kind and cheery person. A true gem to the place. Well done. Will definitely come back and recommend. Good spot in Mullingar to eat, drink and relax!
Ps. Unfortunately I only have the picture of the pudding as everything was so good it disappeared faster than I could snap a shot!

The water tasted like chlorine. The lamb was practically raw — impossible to chew and even harder to cut. When we mentioned it to the waiter, there wasn’t even an apology. For a place that charges high-end prices and tries to present itself as upscale, this was incredibly disappointing. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Had dinner here this evening. The service was fantastic. The restaurant manager was very professional, made us feel very valued and not just another customer. The servers were very friendly also. Food was fantastic. Very quick service and large portions. Very reasonable priced. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
